There are games where you can customize your sound effects, so that they fit your mood. PoE is not one of them unfortunately. Hearing the whisper sound, which sounds like a metallic cup dropped on a marble floor

you can spot a heavy trader because they will delete the persons name from the chat box and type 'tyty' into green local chat rather than purple DM someone after the trade to avoid inflecting that piercing ping sound them.


sometimes it feels like you have to take a breath and forgive someone for dming you in game because of how offensive it is to receive one of those dings.

i know he wants buy my item but fk sake did he have to stab my ear in with that awful ding sound? christ. oh ya, he did have to do that, mmmm, ok, i guess ill give him a pass.
