[2.23] WIP: Davydavidsson's "Sneaky Rageous Fire" or Rage Vortex of Berserking Berserker

WIP: Please bear with me, I'm still writing this guide :3

1. Introduction

I remember how Berserker used to be the premier Righteous Fire ascendancy back when I first started playing Path of Exile back in the early leagues of version 3. Now, it a very roundabout and liberally interpretated way, it has in a sense returned with the introduction of Rage Vortex of Berserking.

Summary:
This build aims to exert Rage Vortex of Berserking (RVB) using Ambush (which will apply its exertion effect to the entire duration of RVB) to then leverage the added critical strike Chance for consistent and hard-hitting damage output.

Pros:
- Easy to get started on a low budget with much room left for improvements
- Fast playstyle
- 5M~100M pinnacle boss dps

Cons:
- Need to micro-manage rage
- Weak to damage over time
- Ambush can feel clunky sometimes

4. Breakdown

Ascendancy:
We're using the Berserker ascendancy because it inherently has a lot of synergy with rage and exerted attacks.

Ambush and RVB:
Ambush will teleport you to an enemy and exert your next attack to gain added Critical Strike Chance and Critical Strike Multiplier. Using Ambush to exert RVB will cause the exertion effect to apply to the Ragestorm for its entire duration, since the Ragestorm is considered to be a part of that single use of RVB. This interaction effectively circumvents the downside that the Cooldown of Ambush would otherwise present. Having every RVB exerted by Ambush let's us scale Critical Damage very conveniently.

War Bringer and Enduring Cry:
The War Bringer Ascendancy Passive let's us generate rage based on power when we use a Warcry with less than 25 rage. We'll use Enduring Cry because it also generates Endurance Charges and gives Life Regeneration. We also don't need the Warcry to exert our attacks, because Ambush does not let us use other exertion effects.

When we have more than 25 rage, Enduring Cry will sacrifice 10 Rage to provide 50% more damage with Exerted Attacks through War Bringer. Note that this effect does not require the Attack in question to be exerted by the Warcry in question.

Shield:
Redblade Banner is the only strictly mandatory unique item in this build; it let's Enduring Cry instantly fill your Rage when you have less than 25 Rage and also reduces Enduring Cry's Cooldown. This makes it much easier to sustain RVB's Rage degeneration; letting you maintain RVB for much longer.

Weapon:
A Paradoxica with increased Attack Speed and Physical Damage mods is the best way to scale damage due to the many sources of flat Physical Damage such as Rage Support, Bloodthirst Support, and Abyssus.

Alternatively you can run this build with a cheaper weapon such as Varunastra, which requires slightly different methods of damage scaling.

6. Why not X?

Bloodrage

Because otherwise Life Reservation from Dissolution of the Flesh wouldn't reset until Blood Rage ends.

Tanu Ahi

Because Petrified Blood prevents your leech from capping.

Multistrike Support

Because Attack Skills supported by Multistrike Support cannot be exerted.
