HELP ! Heavy lags/freezes, terrible loading times...

Please tell me !
Every league it's getting worse and worse to a point it became near unplayable... I'm setting everything to the lowest I can, don't use any MTX, I have a good Internet connection and comp... Yet I'm getting ridiculous loading times between most areas (from 20s to 2min+ !!) and tons of lags and freezes on the start of each areas (seems like after showing effects, they're "saved" for the current area only)... (Something missing ?) My settings ingame are shown in the fist Youtube link. It's making it ultra boring, slow and rippy ! Is it the same for everyone ? Did the game became THIS bad ? :/ I have absolutely no troubles with Diablo III or so... Loading times increased 3x for me with the start of Affliction league, 30 - 60 seconds is a new normal now.

" Well at least you don't have the so-called multi-threading bug. The only advice I can offer is try to use Vulkan renderer instead of DirectX11. Keep performance graphs turned on (F1 key), switch between Vulkan and DirectX, play a little on both and see what is better for your PC. I think that stuttering when you start a map is purely code-based, just bad coding from GGG programmers (as usual), nothing you can do from your side to fix it. Maybe (this is pure guess) they were trying to fix loading times so they moved some calculations that were performed during loading screen. Now these calculations are performed when player can play already, so try just to wait like 30 seconds after you load into a map until those CPU spikes is gone. Maybe GGG will patch it in a few weeks. Last league they made a patch that improved loading times, maybe they will do this again for Affliction. | |

Maybe some problem with shader cache, but I don't know much about it, so can't tell for sure.

I tried Vulcan but it didn't seem to change anything... beside making me crash x)
I added my spec on first post, just in case. I don't know much about hardware, but without beeing top end stuff, it's not that old... I have no troubles with other games like D3 where it's completely smooth... But POE's been laggier every league to me... my spec: cpu: i7-12700 gpu: rtx 3060 ram: 32 gb insane fps drops and lags. loading times are INSANE |
