Please correct the point rewards. Use the results for events 15 and 16 as a benchmark.
The prizes for reaching specific levels and staying alive need to encourage broad participation: Fewer high level brackets (no one got above 25 in the prior races), and much more points at the lower brackets (over 90% of players who participated and survived in events 15 and 16 got 3 or fewer points). Additionally, some of the quest prizes and full clear prizes seem to be copy/pasted from a 3 hour race. I am unaware of anyone in events 15 and 16 progressing to cruel at all..., so a reward for dread thicket full clear on cruel seems especially out there. Never underestimate what the mod community can do for PoE if you sell an offline client.

Right, normally they would but obviously in this they won't - it's all how you interpret the question.
Nothing to see here.

3 points for Level 15-20 does seem a bit out of whack. If for example, you're not an experienced racer and can't get over level 20 yet, there's no incentive at all to keep playing once you hit 15 because you won't get anymore points anyway, you'll only get more time where you could possibly die.

I love to race, even though I'm not too great at it. This season however I've only attempted one race and quit. No point to play this game the way its structured with races. It doesn't encourage new players to play either unless you are a hardcore gamer. This area of the game still needs work with how the points are divided out.
Just some input for GGG. |
