Spectral Shield Throw and Trinity

I am playing a SST/Emperors Vigilance Champion build and i see everyone using Trinity but I do not do enough Cold damage to get the full 3 element buff. Am I missing something or do thsese builds just use Trinity without getting the full buf.

They are using Divergent Trinity over default, the quality converts % of phy dmg to a random element to fill in the missing elemental buff.

But with the SST/Shield Crush node that gives added Lighting/energy shield I do Way too much lightning to get the buff from hitting with more than one element.

U need Heatshiver to get full trinity buff, its dont work with lightning conv
