No matter how you spin it, it will never be "best in slot" for any one. It may be really bloody great, but even a 6-link with +1 hp will be better as long as it has the right colors.
Now if we're talking for twinking low levels then that's an entirely different matter. | |

I won't call it BiS for summoners but rather the most flexible and arguably most powerful spectre 6L in the game simply due to your ability to maximize ANY spectre.
This of course assumes you're not loaded up the wazoo with 6L's of all the right colours. |
