The Mara got Versaitility as Offattribute Node
The Templar got Precision The Shadow got Fitness and a good Strnode close to life nodes. The Duelist got Manaflows The witch got no nodes that help with STR and DEX and the Ranger got no nodes for Int and Str really close. Those off path nodes aren't really useable. After coming 10 minutes late /and finding no melee weapon the first time) to the no projectile Race I saw that cleave actually isn't levelable for quiet some time unless you find an amber amulet/heavy belt. The Duelist is able to get Master of the Arena at after 6 Points. So my suggestion for the ranger would be to move the melee ring as melee start of the ranger and modify the southern start a bit. So the start looks like that: 18% Eva->8% Melee->6% Melee->Split to one Hand and dualwield(2 nodes each)->Master of the Arena (10 Str/10 Dex 4% Attack Speed 2 Range 10% Accuracy) The Split offers 1 attackspeed Dualwield/Onehanded 8% to the Heart of the Panther. Finesse and the 10% one handed accuracy get dropped. The Northern start will look like this-> Evasion 18% 10% Evasion split (2x10% Evasion) 2x8% projectile damage. Toward the south it connects to the stun nodes, those connect to Weapon Artistry. Master of the Arena connects to a 20HP node(not connected to 8% HP nodes) and then to Weapon Artistry. Weapon Artistry connects to Shield Master and Heartseeker. This way the ranger has a start more similar to the Shadow/Duelist and can choose to go melee/ranged. A suggestion for the witch would be to change deep wisdom to a node that adds 15 Dex and Str and 20 Mana instead of 20 Int. This thread has been automatically archived. Replies are disabled.

There is already a sprawling thread with ranger tree rework suggestions. People are aware it currently blows and probably are the devs.
Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.
