30% chance to summon two Totems. bugged?

I got the passive that say "Skills that would summon a Totem have a 30% chance to summon two Totems instead", but after trying it out (standing in place and spamming my totem over and over for about 150 times to be sure) I have yet to be able to summon two Totems. Did I misunderstand something or is it bugged?

Do you have any sources of + max number of totems?

No I didn't think that was something I needed for the skill, now this passive seem completely useless though
