Why does my mouse freeze for a few seconds

Hey guys exactly as the title says, for some reason for as long as I can remember now PoE always freezes my mouse, just for a split second, it doesnt matter if im tabbed into the game or tabbed out, in my hideout or in a high dense map situation. Just whenever I have PoE running on my PC (even when on log in screen) my mouse will just randomly completely lock in place, itll be short like maybe half a second or a second and then it starts moving again, sometimes it effects other things like screens wont be able to move or stuff like that. Has anyone run into this/know a way to fix it?


I tried verifying PoE files and also completely reinstalled PoE but still nothing.

My gpu is rtx2070 and my drivers are up to date

remove or update your mouse driver?

if windows blocks mouse input it's most likely a driver issue.

when that happens, can you do inputs in the keyboard or does windows stall completely?

Hey, it happens so sporadically I cant really test to see if my keyboard is locking too its for such a short second that even trying to press a potion at the same time it happens I cant react that fast heh but I dont think the keyboard is effected, its actually very very easy to recreate too, it happens so often like at least once every 20 seconds

I am using a Razer mouse and my synapse is up to date

you can try to uninstall the razer mouse driver to see if that helps.

the problem is to fin out if it's windows itself or other software which causes the stutter
