Users are unable to unstack items from their stash when accessing their stash within a Harvest

Hey GGG,

I play on an Xbox Series X. I'm not sure if this issue is console specific or not.

The issue is when I'm within a Harvest, and access my storage via the Harvest crafting bench thingy, I can't seperate my currency/fragments to take advantage of the crafts I just earned in my harvest encounter. The game doesn't let me unstack stacks, even though the legend at the bottom of the screen says I should be able to.

Let me know if that doesn't make sense.

I think that is intended. If you put the stack into the crafting window and hit the craft button the new currency ends up on the ground while the rest of the original stack stays in the windows

They drop on the ground? Crazy. I never wanted to risk it cause it didn't seem right. But I guess it's still a bug cause the screen says the items can be unstacked. It's just not the bug I thought it was. I'll still pretend I'm smart though ;). (Thanks for the response!)

Yeah.

They've talked about fixing this since they announced Harvest was returning in Ritual... but obviously they still haven't.

This is also what determines whether or not you can use a Harvest Craft in your hideout at the Hortibench.

If the task operates on items that cannot be stacked, you can do it in your hideout.

If it operates on items that can be stacked, you can only do it in a map, so that the new item can drop on the ground if the stacksize was higher than the number operated on.

Note that is true even if you manually take a single item over to the bench. Even though there's no "stack" and no "excess", so nothing will fall on the ground, it still can't be done in your hideout.
