Steelworm - Call of Steel - Impale Zombie Minion build?

If you are playing a zombie build and using impale support and dread banner with you zombie build would you get anything out of Call of Steel? Not sure I understand how it works

As far as I understand the interaction, you should be able to immediately deal all the stored damage of the impales inflicted by your minions.

The only benefit I could see would be dealing this damage in an AoE around the enemy, which would help your clearspeed, but it would not affect the overall damage you deal to a single target.

I agree it should work, but I don't know if it would be very viable for clear speed unless you have specific boss Spectres or something. Minion builds are socket staged as is.
