Veiled chaos orb

If I use it on an item, can I get the chance to unveil a signature mod if I already unlocked it and it's the right base for it or it only puts general veiled mods?
I want to use a veiled c to add the potent version of Gravicious extra life as ES mod on a chest piece.

Its still a chaos orb and will reroll the item entirely.
So dont even think about using it on item with rolls you want to keep.
I want to meta craft by prefix cannot be changed so I keep the only mod on the item, the incursion life mod, and then add a veiled suffix to guarantee some good suffix. Maybe later add the rest 2 prefix veiled mods via Aisling or normal craft.
What I wanted to know is if the veiled chaos works like when you get a general veiled mod or if it has the chance to unveil signature mods. If not I would just pick the first good option and craft later the one I want.
But now that I think of there's no signature veiled mod I want on that piece, it's the prefix from Gravicious that I want but it would be nice to know if it can do it.

I just hope the veiled chaos doesn't fill the other 2 suffix slots with trash mods or it would be expensive to remove them.
Im not an expert on veiled chaos orbs, but I was told the veiled mod does count as a benchcrafted mod which would exclude Aislings veiled ex slam - not sure how this stuff works tho.

Id be careful and look up a YT guide before doing anything if I was you

Multimod craft
add prefix cannot be changed
add suffix cannot be changed
use the veiled chaos orb.
remove crafted mods
craft what you want.

Ohhh right!
I can lock the 2 of them with multimod.
But have you tried this? Locking both pref and suff won't make it impossible for a veiled mod to even appear?
And I'm thinking Orbaal may be right that veiled mods count as crafted before unveiling so maybe I can't metacraft and expect a veiled mod to appear on the item. That would suck and make the veiled chaos orb useless.
Nevermind I saw a vid someone doing this same thing and it works perfectly. Just expensive to craft those many meta mods.
Metacrafting only prevents existing mods from being changed, new mods can still be added regardless.
They can't roll signature veiled mods.

Yes I think it was MBXtreme that did a video on this type of crafting.
And yes it's definitely expensive.
Worth it? That's up to you.
