Solo League Please * Increased Item / Currency Drops * No Trading or Item Dropping (Vendoring/Destroying is only option) I like to actually progress in game, not depend on a top heavy economy or pray for drops that do not seem to happen. Grinding would be fun if it was more rewarding. |

i'd play in a self found, solo only league for sure..
hell, thats what i play now in default.. Things with "increased" and "decreased" in the tooltip are additive ... where as "More" or "Less" are multiplicative ... Last edited by wade001#1394 on Apr 2, 2013, 5:57:41 PM

I currently play this way, except for the * Increased Item / Currency Drops part. For that I rely on IIR/IIQ gear.

Not that I would be against your idea (increased drop rates would be debatable, I think, but that's neither here nor there), as I play solo and self found pretty much exclusively, but I don't think this will ever happen due to the online nature of PoE.
Given the game's online requirement, it seems logical to me to assume that GGG is hoping to foster a social gaming experience. Adding such a league would be counter to that apparent goal, so I don't see it happening. |

More drops in solo would be nice though, like OP said, economy sucks for new players who need crafting, and solo is much slower to farm than in groups.

" No doubt it would be nice. I'm just debating with myself whether or not it's actually needed. Nice vs needed can sometimes be a struggle, but I try to be honest in my appraisal with regard to the two, hence why I said debatable. :) |

Would love to see this. "Social gaming experience", that's rich. We all know by now that this only means we are confronted with the most disgusting aspects of social behaviour. People + the Internet's anonymity = well, you know where I'm going. I will gladly skip on that "social experience" ;) |

It will be nice. I would even spend up to 80 dollars just to buy this game and play it offline so that I don't have to worry about internet problems, but the of course, this will have some mods issues such that people can alternate the save files and stuff, consequently decreases game life.
I remember GGG mentioned about they did have an idea about a paid league where players pay to enter that league(obviously). However, they didn't mention about the dates nor the details of such league. |
