How is (spell) totem HP calculated?
I was wondering, how is spell totem HP calculated? Is it completely independent or is it based on your own HP? The reason I asked is because I saw a thread where someone said increasing your own life indeed increases the HP of the totem as well, but I can't seem to find any other sources to support it. If anyone could shed some light on this that would be great.

The only ways to increase totem life are:
Quality on Decoy Totem will increase its life. Leveling up any Totem Gem will increase its life. <-- the only real way Increased Totem Life passives on the skill tree. Your own life has nothing to do with your totems life, it is mainly based off the level of the totem gem. |

Do spell totems gain life when you level them? It doesn;t say it does.

" They definitely do, I've done some testing with a level 1 spell totem and a level >15 spell totem on the same character, and the latter could take far more hits from enemies before dying. |

" To be more precise they gain 1.5% of their hp per lvl. It used to be 3% but that was nerfed a while ago. Since we do not have any official numbers on the totem hp these numbers are semi useful though. |
