Exchanging or Combining (premium) Stash tabs

Can we please please please have the option of combining or exchanging 4 premium stash tabs into a quad tab.

I have searched through the posts here, and every now and then there are posts with similar requests. Once a response was that it was technically not possible, though I remain convinced that there could be “ways around this” too.

So here is my attempt at imagining what GGG could do to make this long time wish finally come true for me and other long time players.

“problem" description: I am a long time player who actually over time has managed to build up quite the collection of stash tabs. Besides having every “special tabs” I also have (approximately) 44 premium tabs. Many of these were obtained before the introduction of the “Quad stash tab”, already quite a while ago now.

Ever since the introduction of the Quad stash tabs I am increasingly frustrated every league with the size of my premium tabs (too small!) and find I use them less and less, simply because of that.
The introduction of being able to group tabs together was a welcome change, but it still does not erase my desire of being able to combine or exchange premium stash tabs for quad tabs. Also the introduction of improved searches and sorting within tabs, makes quad tabs far more desirable then a gazzilion premium tabs (to me).

Out of principle, I have stopped buying points; I dislike the idea of having to spend more point to buy Quad tabs while I have premium tabs that I refuse to use due to how you evolved the stashes over time.

Process/policy that could resolve the problem:

Allow players to refund their premium tabs for points. I am not even asking to get refunded exactly the points spent just do it at “regular fixed points cost” or slightly more expensive. (e.g. normal tab is 30 points and premium tab is 40 points, so e.g. you would get back 27 and 36 points respectively??)

(Probably it is important to have a “cost” attached to the process, this opportunity cost is needed to prevent people in standard from abusing this process for eternity to just change their stashes into “extraction only” in Standard.)

- Only allow this policy for specific periods, e.g. between where a league is rolled into standard, until before the new league starts.

- All premium tabs (existing in Standard with items in them), that were “refunded” are rolled into “extraction only tabs” in standard.

- Only normal premium (maybe also standard stashes tabs, if you are kind?) can be refunded. (Special tabs, or MTX should never be allowed to be refunded IMO as it would create a nightmare)

That’s it!

In my particular case the above would mean I get refunded (using my suggested values) 44 x 37 points = 1628 points for which I would buy 10 Quad Stashes instead.

Also I would end up (finally 😊 ) spending some cash again to buy some of those juicy MTX that you keep introducing!

I would like the ability to upgrade to existing tabs as well. Let me upgrade currency tabs so they can hold more than 5000 chaos or 50k perandus. I would pay for this feature.
