Events Unique Item and Orbs of Scouring

Since the event unique items are itemlevel 100.

Is it possible to use orbs of scouring on them to remove their stats?
If yes. next question.

When they become white items, will they retain their custom artwork (like the coral ring)?


Reason is they're itemlevel 100, and it would be cool to have unique artwork for some powerful rares.

Nobody knows?

Orb of scouring cannot be used on any unique, not just the event ones.

I tried scouring my Ondar's Clasp, Limbsplit, Karui Ward and a few others and nothing happened.

the iLvl resulting is same as the lowest item iLvl, u'd lose the lvl 100 iLvl this way.

Being Ilvl 100 doesn't currently actually matter, since there are no affixes above 79.

This isn't true for the iron ring recipe. The resulting amulet you get (coral or paua) is the same ilvl as the rare ring that you use in the recipe.

I'd also like to know what happens if you manage to make the coral ring into a unique, does it keep the new look or lose it?
