Tanky duelist like a tanky marauder if molten strike ?

Is it possible to make a duelist, tanky as marauder?.

If so how do i do that, with what gear, and should i take the same route as i do with marauder in armour area,?.

Another question about molten strike, can you get as much dps with out elemental overload ?. I was considering making a very defensive duelist, if it is possible at all to make it as tanky as the marauder.
