3-1 Map Vendor Recipe Bugged Compared to PC Version

This is new for me, as I didn't know it was possible. I saw a video on Atlas Completion strategies. He was illustrating that having multiple copies of the same map is extremely powerful for generating atlas completion objectives. Although I knew of the 3-1 vendor recipe for maps of the same tier and name works, I was unaware different map outcomes were possible depending on the specific maps selected to vendor.

As he explained (and demonstrated on pc version), each map has a seed, although that property is not visible to us. By exchanging 3 of the exact same name and tier, take tier 13 Underground River in Lex Proxima for example, it will generate a random tier 14 map in Lex Proxima. If you have a large pool of the same map, you can manipulate what the outcome of the tier 14 map will be, simply by changing which specific 3 maps you select from your pool.

I have completed every non-unique atlas and bonus objective for maps in the game, but am trying to fill out my awakening bonus objectives. I got pretty excited by this, as even with favorite maps unlocked and checked, I am having a difficult time getting the ones I am missing to drop.

So I took my 17 Underground River and 7 Plateau maps to Helena and started swapping in and out maps to try to get any one of the 3 tier 14 Lex Proxima maps for which I still have unfinished awakening objectives. EVERY single combination I tried resulted in an Ivory Temple map. Ok, so maybe Helena is just bugged, so I tried it with Zana. Nope, same results, all Ivory Temple.

I'm not going to calculate the odds that every combination of 17 and 7 maps all result in the exact same outcome, but the chances of that happening seem extremely small. Especially when you consider his example showed a pool of around 8 maps from which he was able to generate all 3 of his missing maps.

Please fix. This is an extremely powerful recipe for atlas completion bonuses not available to console players, that is apparently available to PC players.

Sure, I could try to buy them off trade, but the league is pretty much dead at this point, and trades frequently sit in a death queue until they just expire, and having this available at new league start would exponentially accelerate the ability to acquire completion bonuses.

This game is so complex; part of the reason I love it so much. So it's very frustrating when seeing one of these veterans take the time to share their strategies, getting a fresh level of excitement by learning yet another new tip, only to be disappointed that it doesn't work across all platforms.

If I'm doing something wrong, then please let me know, but I don't think so. I had all the watchstones socketed for Proxima when I tried, and had previously completed the maps at a lower tier, so to my understanding they should be available in the pool to draw from.
