Impale Champion DS links question

Hey guys;

Running Vaal double strike as a champion, current gems setup in chest:

clear: V double strike, Fortify, Impale, close combat, Ancestral call, Melee splash.

Single target; V doubles strike, Fortify, Impale, Close combat, Melee phys, Brutality

Im having trouble fiddling with PoE, im wondering if one of you wonder gamers knows if id best re-roll chest to 4 red 2 green and run brutality instead of close combat at all times. Fortify is in there because the gem seems good enough, but if I can get a massive dps boost with another gem Id take it since fort slots easily with whirling blades.(dual wielding swords)

(gear wise its comming along, need weapons stat, better cluster jewels with some survivability. hopping for an impale/crit/hp+armour cluster setup... although with basalt and fort i might be capped....+all res would be nice. Need chaos res too. stretch goals.)

Ps; using double strike even with the gem swap hassle cuz vaal double strike never fails me and I ahte bosses. Yeah cyclone feels better but starts to lose out on single target.
