Is there a way to Remove a Guild Leader?

As a founder of a multi game guild, I need to know if there is a way to remove a guild leader should they abandon the game.

I don't think it's automatic, but you can contact support and ask them to help. They're sure to have some policy in place to deal with an absent leader.

Of course there is no such thing in poe. Just because someone (for example) had to go to the hospital for some time you can't simply kick him and rob all his goddies from the guid stash tabs or rob his guild's name. Simply leave the guild and make one yourself mr. multi game guild founder.

3month? That’s not even long. my guild leader logged on finally after 1 year 2 month :D

Thank you all for answering my question.
Yes I am fully aware that there are those evil types that would take advantage and exploit the system like suggested by a poster above. However, there are those of us that are leaders of legitimate multi game guilds who may need to replace a leader from time to time for perfectly understandable reasons, such as long term illness, death, and various announced and unannounced leaves of absences. As a guild leader you can pass on the guild leader title via a button in the guild pannel on the social tab.
As a guild member the only way to deal with an absent guild leader is through support. Keep in mind that afaik any guild purchases or donations prevent you from being kicked from the guild for a period of 3 months. So if the gl purchased anything in the last 2 months lets say you'd still have to wait for the 3 months to be up before support can do anything for you. You can try an alternate means to contact the absent gl (phone number, email, discord)and maybe resolve guild leadership that way. |

I think that you are the person that thinks that is better then everybody, and if something is not as you wish, you get but... i mean sad.
As people suggested you, if you don't like the guild make yourown. If you are so better then everyone else then you won't have trouble to convince other to join you. Or do you want to use someone else's name for your popularity. It just a game mr. multigame guild founder. Or is your life achievement to make guilds in games? |

I wanted to update this thread by stating that POE customer service were TOP SHELF.
They took care of our request (Me and our guildie who could no longer play who held the GL position) within 24 hours ON NEW YEARS DAY! So thank you and duly noted. |
