Prism Guardian + corrupted "granted" skill

This is odd. Please kindly explain this, as I feel clueless at the moment.



In this example shield grants a lvl 23 discipline. However, it seems not to take the shield's stats into account (mana reservation/blood magic)

HOWEVER

I've been googling around and found a very similar setup to mine, where the exact same shield actually does make the granted skill reserve life instead of mana, and it even adds the explicit +2 levels from the shield to it (PoB confirms it as well).

How come? Am I missing something?

I know, but how come the other person's PoB does take shield's explicits into account for that skill?

It's no longer fan-made. The person who is developing it is a GGG employee.

so you are looking for the way how to show it in PoB? Have no idea why, it wont make it work in game anyways

edit: yeah, he is an employee but still makes it in his spare time. its not official GGG tool

I managed to get hold of "the guy".

He confirmed that PoB is botched and incorrect. I just wonder how the heck did it manage to bug out like this on the same item.

His build is probably generated from an older PoB version when the bug was simply present in the code. The final values get saved when you share your build; it should be enough for you to import his build and then find a button somewhere that says "update build to current version" or something.
