Dual Mjölner APS and cooldown recovery calculations
The PoE wiki for Mjölner states that "As an internal cooldown of 150ms is present, one should try to come as close as possible to 6.67 attacks per second if only one Mjölner is being worn."
However, I'm confused about the interaction if dual wielding them, which it doesn't elaborate on. How does the calculation change when dual wielding, if at all? Is it doubled? For instance, I'm currently using a dual-wielding Mjölner build with a different lightning spell socketed in each weapon. With 0% CDR, and using cyclone to proc, I would need cyclone to hit approximately 6.6 times per second to maximize my triggers, correct? If I'm using a 20% CDR "The Flow Untethered" this would become, I believe, approximately 8.3 APS. Or am I completely wrong since I'm dual wielding them? Does this mean I need to double these numbers and reach approximately 13.2 and 16.6 APS, respectively, to maximize my triggers? I also understand that server tick rate plays a role in this, and actually brings these numbers down a bit as to avoid any skipped triggers, but I'm mostly just looking for approximation and how the math itself works out. Thank you very much for your help. Last bumped on Jul 2, 2019, 8:29:17 PM
