i cant finish the "dealing with the bandits" quest.

I was trying to complete the deal with the bandits quest when it told me i needed to kill Kraityn but when i go to broken bridge he is not there. I think this may be due to playing with someone who already completed the quest and i chose to save them while they chose to kill them. i never got the item from the bandit. I have already killed the two other bandits. Now i am not able to open the doors in the caverns due to not finishing this quest. I have read through forms with similar issues and most of them say to control click the area but this did nothing.

" Ctrl Ckick the waypoint of the Area on the map ! does reset the area and will respawn krayton. You go to the waypoint of the area click on it and a map opens -> now ctrl click the waypoint in the map ! then click spawn new area Last edited by ADtesterGM#5055 on Apr 14, 2019, 7:38:36 AM

I tried the control click to reload method and the only things that spawn in Kraityn's area are his thralls. I think my game thinks that i have already killed him so it wont re spawn him, but somehow i never got the quest item from him.

The character has credit for killing all 3 bandits. You need to talk to the bald guy in town to complete the quest. You can change which bandit reward you get with a vendor recipe that includes a 20-stack of regret orbs... it's kind of expensive to switch bandits, considering you're only in act 2. Expensive mistake for a very low lvl character. Either start a new one or just accept that you're not getting the reward you had wanted.
Where there's one they're bound to divide it right in two.
