Toxic rain

Is it possible, or rather reasonable to make Toxic rain+poison duelist? If yes, would it be beginner frendly?

Duelist easily gets outshined from other classes/ascendancies that focus on poison/damage over time skills.

There are a lot of better class choices to utilize Toxic Rain a lot better. For example, a Trickster is pretty good choice for Toxic Rain. They have good DoT passives. One thing to remember, though Toxic Rain has the word 'toxic' in it, it doesn't actually poison.
