Tips n tricks for buying maps via poe trade

Spent 20minutes 'trying' to buy a T14map where niko was in.

And this is day 3 in a row niko does this.

Step 1: ban all fake map sellers
Step 2: improve atlas spawn system or make zana sell ANY maps but with some failsafe in it so the 1% couldn't chain corrupred T16 ofcourse.
Step 3: repeat step 1 over and over so these asses finally leave poe for good

Hm, do you mean those guys who do not respond? Because their maps already were sold long ago (poe trade is quite slow) amd they got tens of messages.

Ban for this - stupidity.

Or stop being cheap and pay more than the cheapest ones listed which have probably already sold by the time you whisper for them. In my experience it never takes more than a minute or two to buy the maps I need.

You are a standard player and a new league recently started. A lot of those players you are whispering are probably still playing the league I would assume.

No, how about removing the asses not bothering to respond or probably PRICE FIXING their maps in multi account.

But great Idea, I'll start selling maps at triple the market price.

have a look for some videos of those map sellers, they get spammed the shit out of most of the time, especially if they are the first results in searches (lowest price)...AND if you are using PoE.trade atm don't it is significantly delayed, use the game trade function. (you can also ignore those "fake traders" if you want and never see anything they list)

Honestly, I don't have too much trouble ever trading for maps.

All I do is I scroll down a crap ton and then message someone way down there instead. You have a ton of people getting messaged as the first and cheaper sellers. Some of them might be price fixers, bots and the like, but some people simply don't reply because they get a million messages.

I've priced some of my maps for cheap just to get rid of them and got hit by like 50 messages just for a T13 map.

I get frustrated at times when people don't respond, but it might just be because it's like 3-4AM when too. Different times can change this. Like I said though, I would suggest scrolling past a lot of the current traders and get someone much later. You will find that they respond 90% more frequently than the first guys on the trade list.

Another thing I would suggest is to not message people that have the same map posted a ton of times. It could be price fixers, bots or people that just leave their accounts open. I stay away from those traders and also the aim for those traders lower on the list.

Try this out and I am sure you will start seeing a lot more success.

Heck, I've had people give extra tips just for responding to a trade request. It's kind of funny how common this actually happens too. We always end up bringing up about how people don't respond to trades and whatnot after the trade happens.
