Elder Influence/Memory Fragment/Shaper Orb Bug

As is reasonably well known, you can use a method of acquiring shaped versions of maps under elder influence to acquire your shaper orbs. This is very important in solo self found.

However the shaped version of the vault map that i acquired by vendoring three of my shaped promenade maps was not under elder influence when i ran it (the vault map is within elder influence on my atlas), and therefore did not drop a memory fragment. This is irritiating because as far as my atlas shows it should have been under elder influence and been able to drop me the memory fragment.

I'm at somewhat of a loss as to how i'm expected to be able to acquire my shaper orbs on solo self found without an (extra) intense amount of pain and grinding..

Please fix this or explain to me what's gone wrong here and how I can rectify it!



EDIT - Tried again, farmed for another shaped vault while vault is under elder influence, same issue.

+1, I'm having a similar issue, except I'm using the Zana shaped mod to run a elder influenced t4 as t9 for the questline. This has previously worked before the latest patch.

I'm experiencing the exact same thing as OP, trying to get my t7 orb. I have run multiple different shaped t12's which are supposed to be under elder influence but end up not being so. I have reset the elder influence on them but to no avail. Maybe something that's interesting to note is that the Elder and it's guardians haven't spawned yet, even after quite a bit of mapping, not sure if that's related to the original problem.

Really hope this gets addressed asap, it's really killing my motivation.. how am i supposed to get my shaper orbs in ssf without giving myself a terrible time having to farm red sextants to remove maps..

Bumping for visibility. This is a huge issue for solo self found players.

Dont wanna do anything too costly with red sextants if this will be fixed sometime soon

It doesn't seem to be in the list of known issues yet, so i'm not sure how soon it's going to be fixed. There are some other really large issues at the moment too so it might be a while.. :(

you could do that since the release of the mods shaped/elder from zana, they fucked something in the latest patch and now these mods aren't working with shaper or elder influence.

- they don't spread or remove influences
- don't get any extra mobs or influence changes to the map
- no memory fragments

If only there was a way GGG could release a list of changes made to the game before each update.... Hmmmmmm... No.. no of course not, that would be too fucking good to be true wouldn't it.
