About Stun on Melee Hit
Hi.
I need some advice. I have a Juggernaut with Blade Flurry and Ancestral Warchief. I'm using 2 Ichimonji Swords. At the moment i have Fortify linked to Leap Slam. During normal mapping this is enough to keep it up, but when i stand still for a long time i tend to forget that it runs out :D I now have the option on getting a "xx% chance Fortify on Hit" on a corrupted Ichimonji (very expensive for me atm) or via the Perseverance belt. On the belt i have a 19% chance to get Fortify when i stun an enemy. So far i never thought about the whole stun mechanic etc, so the question is: will the belt be enough to keep Fortify up the whole time? I know from the wiki it has something to do with my damage compared to the life of the enemy, so i guess it might be tricky when fighting bosses? Thanks for your help! " I haven´t played stun builds so I can´t comment about stunning endgame bosses reliably (I just know you need to deal high enough damage and invest quite a lot) but I can give you a bit different answer how to get nice fortify buff that lasts longer than normal. Try Vigilant strike gem with The Vigil unique jewel and tell me about your experience.:) |

You'll be stunning whites, you might stun champions you probably won't be stunning rares and you definitely won't be stunning bosses.
You need like big slow hits to stun bosses so no its not that reliable of a method to keep up fortify. Rakii's is probably better slap vigilant strike in I think you can get that to last 20s or something. |

Thanks for the tips.
Maybe i'll try Vigilant Strike, but i guess i have to wait until i get a corrupted Ichimonji. |

" You don´t need to wait for Ichimonji. Vigilant strike can´t miss and provide fortify buff with increased duration (higher level of gem better). Just get this jewel for an extra duration https://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/The_Vigil Last edited by Rakiii#5559 on Dec 18, 2018, 3:27:06 PM
