one handed weapon dmg = dual wield dmg?

simple question or is it?

Technically dual wielding is wielding two one handed weapons.
The skill tree does not really tell if the game does differentiate in that matter.

Probably a future marauder keystone allowing you to use 2h weapons as 1h weapons. Can be balanced by applying a flat penalty to the keystone... could be cool, allowing 1h skills and perks to apply to 2h weapons.

I`m not too fond of dual-wielding. I made a Duelist on my brother`s account.. I mainly just use Flicker Strike which seems like it would be even better with a slower weapon that does more damage. Since only one of your two weapons can attack at once, not including Dual Strike, your damage per second attacking really isn`t any better using two weapons. I am only like level 22 though so I`m not all too familiar with the skills and gems.

My question:
Is the dual wield skill on top of one-handed skills?

As like i have passive skills which boosts one-hand and when i equip a second weapon do i get bonus from dual wield on top of my allready chosen one-handed skills or are those replaced by dual-wield skills?

As long as you are using one-handed weapons, you get the one-handed weapon bonuses.
As long as you are using two one-handed weapons, you get the dual wield bonuses.
Yes, the bonuses stack.
