Enjoy Hello, I'm Sidefxmayinclde I wanted to play a DoT build but also wanted to be a special snowflake and not play ED/Contagion so I started to look at Caustic Arrow. While trying to figure out how to best scale the skill I also wanted something very safe to play as well. I really hope you guys enjoy! This guide will be updated overtime with more information as I progress into the league. UPDATE:1 The guide is now updated for 3.0 all passive trees and bandits have been updated. UPDATE:2 For the most part 3.1 nothing has changed. UPDATE:3 By far the biggest overhaul of this build - I have not updated it since 3.1, I know tons of people really enjoyed this build So let's bring it back! 3.5! (changed in 3.6) UPDATE::4 3/12/2019 (3.6) New 3.6 Path of building WAY stronger then previous leagues!! 1.2m DPS DOT! (that's insane) Some of this guide made seem out of place or no in the Path of building. It's hard to 100% upkeep every guide I have. Always follow the POB any questions you could always ask! This build farms Uber lab and all map tiers, no doubt in my mind that it would also farm shaper/elder. So im going to say now this build can clear all content but not without a decent wallet. Pros [spoiler] Not that expensive to get going Super relaxed play style High content with low gear[/spoiler] Cons [spoiler] Boring without MTX Slower play style - sped up with 3.5 version To min max will cost you a decent amount of currency Crafting the god bow is tons of RNG[/spoiler] Bandits : [spoiler] +2 Skill points [/spoiler] Required Unique/Current Items [spoiler] We use this item because we dont take CI we reserve our HP so we need no chaos to get through! The reason I have 2 here is because we weapon swap for clear/bossing you dont have too tho, you can gem swap Gives us free despair without taking more of our mana also more DoT Really good ES and 10% more damage + regen speed :) This weapon in 3.5 got changed to 40% reduced damage (meaning over all) so this will hurt our clear(trash clear) but actually only slightly Increased DoT! Step 1: buy a white or yellow non corrupted 6l bow best base for CA is Steelwood or harbinger (about 20c) Step 2: Slap a essence of delirium on it (pray that it rolls with only 2 Suffix (the 750 dot and 1 other best would be resistance) If it did not roll with only 2 suffix re delirium it (cannot have more then 2 suffix including the 750 dot) Step 3: Take your bow to a Tora 8 and use the 2 ex craft SUFFIX Cannot be changed Step 4: Scour the bow it will be left with only the suffixes Step 5: Take your bow to Cata 8 and use the 1 ex craft Cannot roll attack mods Step 6: Slam you will 100% get +1 to bow socket gems since that is the only non attack prefix when all 3 suffixes are now blocked Res or w.e you/the 750 delirium and now the Craft Step 7: Remove the craft Step 8: Take your bow to Leo 3 (pvp guy) and Craft 30% in creased damage over time (prefix) Step 9: You should now have 1 open prefix and 1 suffix Step 10 Optional: You could now double slam and PRAY for a +2 socketed bow skill gems (prefix) and another res in the open slots [/spoiler] Stat Priority [spoiler] Stat Priority: ES - Elemental Resistances - Dex/Str [/spoiler] Gem links [spoiler]6l Setup: Bow 1: Bow 2: LL chest Chest: CI Chest: and Temporal Chains 4Link Setups : (Can sub w.e you want if you are CI) (You dont use Purity if you are running 3 curses) [/spoiler] Ascendancy: [spoiler]Occultist: Void Beacon - Withering Presence - Wicked Ward - Vile Bastion [/spoiler] How to level [spoiler]Grab a unique bow and a tabula and use caustic arrow the whole time, with adding in supports.
