smite BUILD help plz

So ive created a smite inquis but im starting to think my passive tree is no good.. this is my first time creating my own and id really like someone to look over it before i get to far into my character. I plan on going full elemental smite. probably going to use a two hander until i can buy a lycosidae and go into a one hand sword. I plan on going crit as well which is where im confused. A lot of my nodes on the tree have pen but i dont know if thats pointless because of the inquis ascendancy.

let me know what you guys think. I was thinking of stacking ele damage and crit on gear with some abyss jewels. Probably a belly for the life but maybe something else.. not sure yet. All help is EXTREMELY appreciated. thanks

Smite gives an aura for allies so they often combine SMite with some sort of minions. I dont see any in your character info.

If you dont plan on using those then its wise to get things like support for leap slam or Cast when Damage Taken set up. If room to spare then consider minions as meat shields atleast.

If you focus on pure smite DPS then this seems an ok tree but it doesnt make use of the allies aura bit of the spell so you miss out on a lot of potential.

thanks for reply. I ended up dropping smite and changing the tree. It just didnt feel good late game... as well i tried consecrated path and its just amazing imo.
