404 Error while installing the game

Hi everyone,

I am new to this game and have a problem to install it.
The installer stops after a while with a connection failure, because it couldn't find this ressource:
http://patch103.pathofexile.com:8095/patch/3.3.1.4/Art/Textures/Environment/Act3/gears_bronzens.dds
And I, if copied correctly from the MessageBox-Window, can't open it either.

Can someone help me :)

It is obviously a bug (the ressource is missing or the uri is not correct) and not a technical issue.

I have the same issue.

wenn die gegenseite nen 404 wirft, ist die verbindung zwar da aber der patchserver findet die datei nicht.



ist das ne neuinstallation oder ein update?

wenn update, dann spiel beenden und die packcheck.exe im programmverzeichnis mal starten und gucken, was die sagt.

wenn die das resourcefile das gepatcht werden soll (content.ggpk) reparieren kann, das spiel neu starten und es neu versuchen.

ansonsten die datei umbenennen und das spiel starten, sollte alles neu runtergeladen werden.
wenn es dann immer noch nicht geht, ist wohl ne fehkonfiguration bei der deutschen version.

if the server throws a 404 error it received the request but failed to find the file requested.

is this a new installation or an update?

the usual procedure to fix resource file (content.ggpk) issues is to run packcheck.exe which comes with the game and restart the game afterwards so it restarts patching.

if packcheck fails, you can rename content.ggpk and restart the game, it will redownload the resource file, if that fails too, devs messed up the ressources of the german version and have to fix it themselves.

Eu estou na mesma situação, fica com o mesmo bug, só que minha pasta esta vazia, e não consigo finalizar o download. Se alguém souber o que tenho que fazer, ficaria bem feliz!!!

Same issue here, going on for 4 days. No workaround or solution fixes it (steam, coying content, full reinstall...).

I cannot install either, i hope this is fixed at least before the flashback :)
