Spell Crit - Doesn't display in the Offence tab?

Hello,

I'm wondering if someone can clear something up for me, as I may be just an idiot or confused to how this works.

I've pathed into the 5 nodes on the class tree around 'Doom Cast' which grants 'Spell Critical Strike Chance'. Now, on some builds I've seen, this shows in the characters menu, under the Offence tab as Chance to Crit with spells (I think from memory), however i'm not seeing anything that relates to spell crit whilst using a spell gem and nor does my crit chance increase.

Also, the increased crit chance support gem, does this work for spells too? As this is a support gem, i'm guessing this does not show under the Offence tab, only the skill tooltip?

When you open the offense tab, it starts off showing the stats for your basic attack. In order to see stats for your skills, you have to click on the skill image in the row of skills in the middle of the character sheet. Then you'll see all these stats. Support gems are included.
