loot filter help

i make a text doc named loot.filter and put it in my poe folder

its still a .txt file.

i go to properties and try to change it but there is no option for me to change it.

i cannot get change it from a .txt file to a .filter file..

any suggestions?

Save As...make the extension .filter

Make sure under the ‘View’’ panel that ‘file name extensions’ is checked. Then in the file’s context menu, click rename and delete the whole name, replacing it with your above mentioned ‘loot.filter’. Hope this helps.
