How do I spawn elder in red tier maps?

I'm trying to expand elder area in red maps only so that I can spawn 100% red tier elder by doing shaper-influenced maps close to elder-influenced maps.

If by example I do desert springs (which is close to elder area), another red tier map that is already in elder influence will be cut off.

Now I count 9 red-tier maps which are in elder influence...is there a limit or is it me? I keep doing red maps only but the number of red maps in elder area won't grow.

Help please? How do I proceed?

Bump
Youll have to always have some yellow maps flipped to his side unless you do some very specific shaping. Otherwise it seems random, and from my experience just having a majority of high tier maps available for him to spawn on seems to do the trick.
HAIL SATAN!
I think he will only spawn on yellow if there are enough yellow maps for all 5 spawns to take place on yellow (Elder + 4 guardians). So you need to remove all yellow Elder maps other than your "bridge" between 2 red tier areas to guarantee a red spawn. Annoying but doable, easiest to do in the NW/NE area since the yellow bridge is only 1 map (Bog).

If you keep expanding Elder area, it will grow, sometimes Shaper takes back a map that is next to his influence, but if you don't let him cut your Elder area in two, you will eventually spawn Elder.

Elder spawns as soon as you hit 20 Elder-influenced maps, and his placement is random within the area of his influence. So you want to grow out the Elder area with as many red maps as possible (the best red cluster to start out with is the Hydra one since it has two T15s and the least yellow maps) while keeping track of how many maps are under his control. Since occasionally Shaper influence will spread out on its own to lower-tier maps, you will occasionally want to run the Shaper maps on the outskirts to keep the number of yellow maps in your Elder area down.

The best I've managed was having 16 red maps in the Elder area before he spawned, meaning there was only a 4 in 20 chance for him to spawn in a yellow map. From that point you just have to cross your fingers and pray to RNGesus.
Useless saying it spawned on the only 5 yellow maps.
By the way, spawning elder on a yellow map that is shaped to red apparently counts as yellow anyway.
And another thing: it looks like you can't have elder influence ALL on red maps.
I believe it's impossible to get 100% red maps for Elder influence. The closest you can get is to have him cover all of the Hydra and Chimera quadrant red maps, with only Bog connecting.

What would happen if Bog is shaped ?
