how do i list an item for trade?

very new to this.. explain like im 5
do i need special stash tabs? why can i search the trade forum for items to buy easily but i cant list items easily? Last bumped on Dec 10, 2017, 10:39:13 AM

Hello,
Premium stash tabs are the quickest and most convenient way, but aren't necessary. I don't recommend looking for items on the forum directly. Stuff there will appear on both the official trade site as well as popular fansites such as poe.trade. They're much more usable. If you aren't using premium tabs I'd suggest downloading Acquisition as that'll help you organize a thread for listing the items you would like to sell to other players in a way that your items will appear on trade sites. Almost nobody actually reads threads in that section of the forum. "VPs are not required to change their posting style. They are still welcome to express their opinions and take part in any discussions they wish. Their only responsibility is to continue doing what they have always done - posting in a friendly and constructive manner."

If you don't have any premium stash tabs, you make a shop in the trade forums. Any items you post in there will get picked up by poe.trade. After you have made a shop, the previously mentioned Acquisition program can make it easy to add items to it and price them. And it is directly linked topoe.trade so when you update things in Acquisition it tells poe.trade to update your listings. Otherwise it may be a short time before your listings get updated.

yes but how to i list them there
if i just type in the name it shows as plain text for example if i want to sell a abberath's horn, and type that in. thats all the shows. no picture, no stats etc when i go to other peoples lists i can hover the item and it shows a picture. i dont know how to do that that link to aquisition works but their website does not. it does not explain to how to install or setup or use it either. cant i just fucking trade!! from what im gathering this game is forcing me to buy premium tabs just to do something as basic as trading. i dont want to have to learn programming and install 3rd party just to trade :( what a crock of shit Last edited by GrandmasterPin#2188 on Dec 9, 2017, 3:47:12 PM

"You're wrong. Just because your searching was inadequate doesn't mean anybody is forcing you to buy anything. Start typing in a post. With your cursor still in the text box move your pointer to the upper left and click your picture. Find the item you want to add to the post. Click it. Wallah, the item is in your post. I know there are youtube videos showing how to use acquisition. Maybe search there. Really, though, your problem is this: GGG don't want trade to be easy. Specifically, they absolutely, positively, don't want it to be easy. This is an explicit design goal. So, yes, expect it to be at least a little difficult. |
