Starforge Infernal Sword

With Starforge can't do ele dmg right?
So Heralds and Hatred don't work with it?
Can I implict shock/ignite/freeze?

You deals no ele damage so hatred/herald are wasted.

You can shock bcos of Starforge unique mechanic (your physical damage can shock)

As far as I know you can´t inflict ignite or freeze.

Technically, you could ignite & chill with a Conflux (i.e. Elementalist) but as you can tell by the name of the ascendancy that'd be pretty counterintuitive to use with Starforge

chill yes, ignite no. As it'd be a zero damage ignite (due to elemental damage being negated), it wouldn't even occur. Same way poison interacts with brutality, it'll never actually apply poison even if you've got poison chance.

nope to the ignite, 0 damage ignite won't even show the effect, but you can chill with no cold damage, certain unique items gives guaranteed chill with certain duration, and there is soul taker.

In an attempt to stay on topic: yeah, you generally don't really want or need to try doing any kind of elemental funkiness with Starforge, there aren't really any loopholes around it. The furthest you'd want to go is Shock modifiers, otherwise, you're looking at Bleeding and Poison for your Ailment options.
