Gaining Power Charges: Suggestions
Alright, so obviously there's a bit of a problem, in that Frenzy and Endurance charges have two different skills for generation while Power Charges only have one (and it's kind of a pain in the butt to use). This thread is for brainstorming skills what could generate power charges.
In my mind, this should be something all classes should have access to (since all classes can make use of endurance/frenzy charges) and relatively easy to use. It should, however, favor the caster playstyle in some way, just as the others favor the attributes of their respective playstyles. My suggestion is thus: Add a support gem into the game. You link it to an attack skill and it raises the mana cost by a flat amount (not a %), an amount which is annoying for those who haven't invested int while not very taxing for those that have. When you kill an enemy with the linked skill (or an ally kills it immediately after) you gain a Power Charge. This would mirror the cost differential found in some of the other charge-generating spells, where it favors those who actually use the playstyle in question. IE, a str-heavy character would have fewer qualms about drawing the aggro of a large swarm than someone from a less str-oriented class while a dex-heavy character will have an easier time using the life leech of Blood Fury to offset the DoT it inflicts.
