Huge FPS drop in Dark Forest (compared to any other instance)

Specs:
(Laptop) Intel's CPU 2.5Ghz 3 Gb of RAM ATI mobility Radeon HD 2700 graphics card. My FPS stays in the range of 60-150, but in the Dark Forest my FPS drops to 10 or even lower. Here is two example pictures taken from two instances (that are next to each other) the Dark Forest and The Weawer's Chambers with FPS information. Dark Forest: (FPS 11)

I did nothing else but changed my instance... I tried it again going back to Dark Forest and back to Weawer's Chambers and the FPS kept changing from 10 to 80 and vice versa.

I had the same problems.
I turned of the shadows in the options. Without shadows it runs better, but form me the ambiance of some instanced is getting lost. Es gibt drei Wege des Lernens:

Yes, turn off shadows. Dark forest makes excessive use of it and the result is that fps loss.

We plan to optimize these areas once they're complete, but until then all you can really do is turn down settings in areas where this happens!
