Posting a link in your forum signature?

Can someone show me or guide me how I make a url link as my Forum signature on the Path of Exile webpage? Any advice on how to do so would really make me really happy! I see other people with links in their signature and I really want to as well. Please help :)

What do you mean regular users? How did you make it so you have a link in your signature?

Cause being a valued poster means that GGG trusts me not to advertise stuff in my sig I guess? I'm honestly not certain as to why the restriction exists, but I wasn't able to have this link when I was a regular user and putting it in was the first thing I did after getting VP.
My sig just uses the regular url bbcode, nothing special. It's just a permission you don't have I think.
