Item rarity/Item quantity in aura!?

Will item rarity/item quantity apply if they are used in aura or it applies only on spell/attack skill with which we will kill minion?

Only on the spell/attack skill.
You can tell when a gem is getting its support correctly when the spell itself has tiny letters in the upper right corner. All the things I want to remember are in the places I'd like to forget.

they only apply to active spells at the moment, so sticking quantity/quality support gems in an aura won't work.
