Can 1 lightning damage occur shock?

Hi. I'm using reach bow of counsil + tornado shot+ added chaos dmg as my main build and I use ring with added x~y lightning damage on attacks on purpose to occur crit(70ish crit chance) i see most of mobs dead with electrified yet not sure if this lightning damage occurs shock and do crit dmg with DoT.

And plus, when DoT crits without assasin node(forgot the name) does it still do multiplied damage? and do crit dmg muliplier x% has anything to do with it?

You cant shock enemies with 1 lighning damage, but if you kill an enemy with a lighning or cold damage while it applies status ailments, it will shatter or be shocked if they die. But in living form you cant be shocked/frozen. Both have the same duration with 5%(?) of monster life to shock/freeze for 350ms.

Shock duration is based on how much light damage you do compared to mob max health (xx ms/% of mob life) and if the shock duration is less than 250ms iirc shock won't apply.

Yes.

If you have some increased shock duration, you can get away with a bit less damage though.
