Question about Void Manipulation reduced ele damage
This is probably an obvious question, but how does Void Manipulation's reduced ele damage modifier work? Let's say I have the Trickery node which gives 20% increased ele damage. Will my net ele damage be -5%?

Yep. "Increased" and "reduced" modifiers stack additively with each other, as opposed to "more" and "less" modifiers which are multiplicative with everything.
Have you done something awesome with Sire of Shards? PM me and tell me all about it!

In other words, that reduced elemental damage may as well not exist, since its impact in DPS is irrelevant. GGG balance at its finest.

" If you have 500% increased elemental damage already, 25% decreased is the same as 4% less. Face it, all of your suggestions are worse than this idea:

" By far not relevant enough for ppl using chaos conversion. Just like how controlled destruction was "supposed" to help non crit spellcasters, but ended up being a straight buff for crit spellcasters too, if not even better than to non-crit ones. If Void manipulation had less elemental damage then you could maintain its supposed balance function. |

it probably needs some time
It took ages for GGG to change Conc effect penalty from "reduced" to "less". It's nice precedent and hopefully a question of time when Controlled dest and similar support penalties become the real penalties IGN: Eric_Lindros

I don't know, seeing GGG trip over the same issues time and time again doesn't give me too much hope.
