Will the hits from the lightning bolt from HoT proc this passive?

I hope so. Heralds have always counted as your Hits up til now as far as I know so based on rules as written it should work fine.

Haven't checked it recently, but heralds didn't work with Romira last time I did and it's worded the same way.

I do believe that heralds will proc it. If so, then herald of ice will be actually a very reliable method of getting charges.

Assassin suddenly seems far less powerful with this development and crit strikes giving 2% base crit at level 21.
