Slower Projectiles - add a Greater Slower projectiles
I really, really wanted in 2.0 to create a ball lightning trap that behaved more like Act 4 Piety's red balls. (Yes, Piety has balls. A beam too.)
So... I put together trap and slower projectiles... and it was just "meh." I really wanted the ball to be more stationary, as in, very slow moving. There was something I really wanted to do, but just really couldn't. Therefore, I'd love to see a Greater Slower Projectiles. Since slower projectiles goes up to 49% less projectile speed, and 29% more projectile damage... I'd love to see the greater variety be a bit more. And, choice, you could use the two together for an extremely slow projectile. I'm thinking: Greater Slower Projectiles - 65% less projectile speed - 36% more projectile damage - 15% increased projectile duration Effectively, slower projectiles cuts the distance in half. Then greater would do even more so. So, say a projectile would have moved 100 units, it would be slower projectile'd to 51 units, and then could be further Greater Slower Projectile'd to around 17 units. But I threw in a little extra duration to the projectile, letting it actually move then 20% of the original distance. This would mostly be a thing for Traps, and a thing for point blank casters. Mostly, all it adds is a little choice. The main alternative would be a unique with significant less or reduced projectile speed. However, it seems to me that such a unique might be more build limiting than a support... because you can have many gem setups, you might want one thing for one, and another for another. In other news... add a Projectile Duration support, as an alternative way to increase total range of projectiles that might not be tagged with duration - or else just tag every projectile with duration?
