What increass Wild Strike's elemental damage?
I have been studying Wild Strike and am thoroughly confused as to what affects its elemental damage.
The wiki says that "Melee physical damage" won't affect Wild Strike's elemental damage, but goes on to say that regular damage conversion applies. Right? Anger, Hatred, Added Fire Damage, and tree passives such as "Strong Arm - increased physical damage with one-handed melee weapons" DO increase Wild Strike's elemental damage. Right? However, apparently "Born to Fight - 26% increased melee physical damage" WON'T affect wild strike. Right? TL;DR very confused over what will increase wild strike's "60% of physical damage converted to fire, cold or lightning damage" |

I believe the article you can find here will be pretty helpful. It seems to explain everything you are asking.
" To specifically answer your questions - and according to this article - here are your answers: Q1: The wiki says that "Melee physical damage" won't affect Wild Strike's elemental damage, but goes on to say that regular damage conversion applies. Right? A1: Correct. It would apply the damage to the initial hit but not the elemental damage portion of the effect. Q2:Anger, Hatred, Added Fire Damage, and tree passives such as "Strong Arm - increased physical damage with one-handed melee weapons" DO increase Wild Strike's elemental damage. Right? A2: Correct, they would. Q3: However, apparently "Born to Fight - 26% increased melee physical damage" WON'T affect wild strike. Right? A3: I believe this is only partially correct. It would affect the initial melee hit but not the subsequent elemental hit(s). Last edited by RawrSlox#6883 on Dec 31, 2015, 3:21:59 AM

Worth noting: the elemental effects simply deal Attack Damage like any other attack. For example, by default they will deal Physical Damage plus the appropriate element.
Lot of people misinterpret this, so, just making sure. :) Last edited by Vipermagi#0984 on Dec 31, 2015, 12:35:49 PM

The secondary effects on wild strike have seperate modifiers of which "melee" isn't include. Attack( conversions, additions, etc), weapon specific nodes, and phyiscal modifiers effect every part of wild strike. Melee, individual element %, projectile, and aoe only effect specific secondaries
