It could be your ES values being out of sync with the server somehow...
But just to be sure, what were you fighting when you died? What Map mods? Is this on darkshrine or standard? |

It used to be a thing where the regen effect from ES continued briefly after death due to the differences in sync, do you have those new gloves that give ES on kill(i think it's gloves)

it's in darkshrine, had no shrines active. I was fighting a white pack of monster, went from 90% energy shield to dead in a split second. but i still had the energy shield. i don't have ES on hit on any gear or nodes. i'm dual totem so no life steal either. i don't remember the map mods.
