[2.2] Lowlife BM 10Aura 3-6Curse EE Conduit Hard Support - NO ENLIGHTEN NEEDED
Ever wanted to get carried? Sick of doing damage? Tired of killing things? Have several exalts of spare currency and a deathwish? In seriousness, this build will make your friends invite you to all their maps, wax poetic about the amazing things you're doing for their DPS numbers and have random people who trade with you express their amazement at the ridiculous boosts you're giving their DPS. At it's core (and most budget version), the build runs a minimum of 10 auras and 3 curses while using Elemental Equilibrium to further raise party DPS. Be aware that even the budget version is not a true budget build, with a baseline ~3ex cost to roll, and requiring a large array of unique items (most cheap, some not). That being said, that version works excellently and was able to run a variety of high (I did up to L86 and 80 Maps with Solaris Lorica) maps fairly safely due to the power of auras and curses. Furthermore, the lack of needing Enlighten to run all 10 is really nice because Gem Slots are really at a premium for a pure support character like this one, between all 10 auras and the curses. Pros: Gives Teammates Huge DPS, survivability, mobility. Immensely fast map clears - allows teammates to 1shot all mobs even in 80+ maps! Makes bosses much safer because curses are OP Get invited to allllll the map groups Can do pretty much any map mod (just afk behind party in No Regen maps) Cons: No damage. At all. Takes 20 minutes to kill a totem in maps. Sort of squishy (especially before Shavronne's), has to idle for a few seconds to regen ES, hates Flaming/Desecrated ground. Needs at least level 68 and 2 mid-tier uniques to run at all
Required Uniques (for 10 Auras + Low Life)
Alpha's Howl, Prism Guardian and the Conqueror's Efficiency Jewel are necessary because they reduce mana reservation such that they allow for the character to be able to run 10 auras, coupled with the Mortal Conviction node behind blood magic (50% less reservation) and every Aura Node on the tree. Solaris Lorica is the budget unique which allows you to be on low life and not instantly die to chaos damage.
Recommended Uniques (for Curses and Survivability)
The Ephemeral Edge sword gives a decent amount of survivability with its 50% Increased Energy Shield and the Lioneye's Paws boots make you unable to be stunned while on low life. The Asenath's Gentle Touch gloves give you Temporal Chains on hit, which allows you to run other curses in your Curse on Hit setup, and Doedre's Damning is necessary to run all the curses. Skill Tree Ascendancy: Occultist. Gives solid survivability to the build, combined with even more curse power. You might be wondering why not Guardian Templar? I thought about it, but the templar start is really awkward and clunky and makes it really hard to reasonably get all the aura/curse nodes while still maintaining adequate survivability Bandits: Kill 'em all. We don't need any of their stuff This skill tree aims to get every Aura and Curse node on the tree, while maintaining an acceptable amount of survivability and enabling the player to run high maps without being a liability. The baseline of the build, in a 4Link and with Occultist's +1 Curse and Asenath's Gentle Touch allows the player to 3 curses (Temporal Chains, and 2 Curses of the player's choice). Acquiring a Shavronne's Wrappings 5L and a Doedre's Damning allows the player to add another curse. A 6L Shavronne's and a 2nd Doedre's adds a 5th curse. After that a Vulnerability on hit corrupt on gloves + a corrupted +1 curse neck can let you go up to 6.
Jewels
The core jewels of this build are Conqueror's Efficiency, as mentioned earlier, which allows the player to run 10 auras, Conqueror's Potency which boosts auras, and Energy From Within Jewels, which provide a very skill-point efficient way of acquiring Energy Shield.
Flasks
The character needs to run at least 1 Staunching and 1 Warding flask to guard against those effects. The Granite of Iron Skin and Jade of Reflexes provide significant damage mitigation. Taste of Hate is an expensive luxury which provides significant physical damage reduction, and can be replaced by a Resistance Flask of your choice, or a Rumi's Concoction. I like to have an Amethyst flask since one of the major incoming damage sources is chaos, since the rest of my flasks provide significant physical mitigation and my auras elemental. I also like the quicksilver (but you can replace it with any utility flask really) because it's convenient for when I have to run at loot, or in places where it's difficult to use whirling blades
Gem Links
Alpha's Howl: Generosity, Anger, Wrath, Hatred. These are your basic damage boosting auras, and Generosity makes them even stronger (since you don't need them) Prism Guardian: Discipline, Grace, Haste. These auras are very useful to both your allies and yourself. I experimented at times with running Haste instead of Hatred in the helm (with Generosity), but the advantages of having the faster movement/cursing speed was too good to pass up. Discipline will be a significant chunk of your ES before you get a Shavronne's. Grace also gives a tonne of evasion (~10k coupled with Alphas). Lioneye's Paw (Luxury: +1 to Socketed Gems): Purity of Ice/Fire/Lightning, Vitality. The Vitality lets you sustain casting stuff, while purities give a tonne of resist/max resist. If a sufficient amount of life regen is acquired elsewhere (the 3x0.4% nodes at Scion are quite good), Vitality can be replaced by an Empower, to make the Purities even stronger. 4L: Whirling Blades, Fortify, Faster Attacks (+ Flame Dash/Leap Slam to get over ledges). This is your main mobility, and Fortify on Whirling blades gives you some extra tankiness. 3L: Vaal Discipline, Vaal Haste, Increased Duration Vaal Auras are super OP with this build. Vaal haste boosts your allies DPS through the roof, while Vaal Discipline is your panic button, which practically makes you invincible for the duration of its effect. Curses: Curse on Hit, Cursing Spell, Curses. Yeah. For the Cursing spell, I personally switch between Ball Lightning, Firestorm and Ice Nova, depending on who I'm partying with and what element I need to EE against. I also vary the curses based on who I'm partying with. The Enduring Cry in the free slot is what enables me to conduit endurance charges to my (lazy) teammates.
Defences
With level 20 Auras: ~4k ES (Solaris Lorica) ~6k ES (Shavronne's Wrappings) ~10k Evasion. 81 all resists, capped on Elemental Weakness maps. With flasks: ~8k Armor, ~25k Evasion
My Current Gear (L92)
Levelling Advice
The easiest way to level is by getting carried, but failing that, Flame Totem is super OP. I levelled using Flame Totem in a Tabula Rasa entirely solo (except for asking guildies to help with bosskills), and it was acceptable, if slightly difficult. As for which skills to level: I started off getting all the aura nodes (and a decent chunk of ES) while preparing myself for the transition into Hard Support at level 70. At 70, I had every aura node on the tree, Mortal Conviction, and the Double Curse node, as well as whatever spare ES nodes I could pick up, and after the transition I had 3.2k ES with Solaris Lorica and L20 Discipline. Build Video coming soon(TM) Special thanks to Katheon, who gave me the Alphas and Prism Guardian that led to this build being possible, and Minihunter for being my main carry and helping me level (including power leveling me from 60-70 in Dried Lake and doing all my boss-kills as I levelled). " Awesome (and sick gear!), let me know how it goes. So far I've found a lot of success mapping with my friends (especially Windripper MF and Hegemony'sEra VaalGS/Cyclone), and it'll probably complement a freezer well. One potential change you can make when mapping with him is swapping haste into your helm instead of hatred, although you'll have to see if that suits your playstyle (it is a little suffer losing the extra ms/cast speed). Also, since you have a +1 Lioneye's, do you mind testing out for me how it feels to put empower in instead of Vitality? A Level 2 Empower will give you level 23 Purities (which in this build means +2 to max resists), but losing the life regen could potentially hurt. Let me know if you get it to work and I should invest in some +1 boots too! |

its a NICE build

" Ye I used Empower in there but I have not enough life regen for whirling blading and casting the spell to curse. When I get my last 11%xp I will try to skill 2 0.4% life reg notes at the scion and whenI upgrade my amu for one with a bit dex cause I am missing 3 dex -.- and check if 1,2% reg from tree are enough to run the puritys with empower. So far build is insane! :D ppl love to map with me :D |
|
Ok I changed my amu to and respeced the 2 evasion nodes at the scion and respec the 30 dex node I had skilled and now I skilled the 3 .4% life reg nodes and I guess the life reg is enough. 35,9 life reg with a life pool of 97 to cast/attack. And my resists are now at 83(170) 83(206) 84(204)

" Awesome to hear. That's definitely something to aim for then as a luxury option, since +2 to all resists is absolutely massive. Also definitely glad you're enjoying playing it so far! Also, taking a quick look at your passive tree, you could probably spec out of one of your 6% ES nodes (either in the Scion ES wheel or the 6% life node next to devotion) and grab the jewel slot at scion life regen for another 12% energy from within for just a bit of extra ES OTHER POSSIBILITY: Golem's Blood (at Duelist) is 1.6% life regen (4 points away), and you can grab the jewel slot next to it and throw an energy from within there to get a lot of 27% es to go with 1.6 life regen for 6 points. Might be better than the scion option. That pathing will also help a bit with your dex issues (so respec out of 3 life regen nodes at scion, the 6% life node next to devotion, the 6% es node in scion wheel, and 1 more node to gain 27%ES, 1.6 life regen and some dex. Seems worth it) Last edited by elf_01#6956 on Aug 26, 2015, 9:52:23 AM

So I made the changes that elf_01 suggested.
Here's my defensive stats
That's my Gear
Current Passive Tree |
|
6L Shavs and +1 Curse Amulet acquired for Pentacurse. Next step is getting +1 Lioneye's Paws (probably at L94 when I have enough skill points).
Current Gear
Defences at 5.3kES, 10500Eva, 81/81/82 resists even on Elemental Weakness maps. Swapped on Flame Dash for Fortify in Whirling Blades links since I haven't died in like 3 levels, and I like being able to go over cliffs, but this is purely personal preference.
