Acrobatics + Iron Reflexes (passiv skill confirmation)
During the alocation of points i I got 2 skill while reading their description. I have a bad mouse that sometimes clicks itself.
First skill wasnt so bad, +4% moove.speed by frenzy charge not bad, even if i dont need it as an archer. Second - its was epic fail for me, and now i can just delete a character :( It was Iron Reflexes. This skill turned all my evasion to defence, and Acrobatics removes it to ZERO :/ It would be nice if there will an "confirmation" system, where i could "unmark" selected skills before closing passiv menu. p.s.it would be nice if someone delete this "iron reflex" from me char... A confirmation button would be handy, especially because the passive map is so large that you click and drag to see different parts. You could accidentally click on a point while doing this as well.

While a confirmation is an ok idea for some people(would be better if we could open the character screen from the passive tree to see the effects of our choices).. I have no sympathy for click and draggers. Use the edge scrolling and zooming.

" edge scrolling is very annoying. I like autoscroll like most browsers have (typically middle mouse). The closest thing to that is click-dragging (panning?); It's far more accurate than edge scrolling. The only thing better would be keyboard scrolling with the arrow keys (highly recommended actually) All this said, I agree with the OP: there should be a confirmation box for all keystone passives. Fresh cakes for all occasions.

" FTFY. I prefer using the panning action, I find it easier and more comfortable to navigate that way. The confirmation box could be unobtrusive as well - it wouldn't have to be a pop up that forces you to click yes or no to move away from the screen. It could be a confirmation button that slides out from the side of the skill, or overlays on top for you to click again. By simply clicking anywhere else on the screen the overlay could disappear. I would prefer something like this to a pop up but either way I would like the confirmation option in. Soldiers of the Wasteland - sotwguild.com

Perhaps something as simple as a second click - click-and-drag won't trigger it (except for very unusual dragging behavior), and it won't slow down allocating points you actually do want.
So, first click highlights (little glowing aura sort of thing), second click allocates. I have wandered through insanity;
I have walked the spiral out. Heard its twisted dreamed inanity In a whisper, in a shout. In the babbling cacophony The refrains are all the same: "[permutations of humanity] are unworthy of the name!" |

The double click idea should be simple to implement and it's way better than the current singleclick.
Yes, it's currently annoying and dangerous to navigate the passive skill tree. |

" Click and drag is an interface element many pieces of software utilize. Somebody who uses graphic software (AutoCAD, Photoshop, whatever) all day long will be much more at ease clicking and dragging vs scrolling. Shrug. Just because you're used to one thing doesn't mean everybody else is. |

" btw, why do you think it is epic fail? It seems to be very nice skill for bow ranger, unless you have 80+% evasion rate. It was very hard for me to play with only dex armor, so now I'm playing equipping dex+str armor, which give me some armor rate in case when mobs hits me. |

" Iron reflex convert all my evasion to defence. Acrobatics removes all defence and energy shield. I should have only "acrobatics", but accidentally learned second passiv skill, that "killed" my char... :( Now i cant get any defence/evasion/shield points...
