Nice guide Blackdepp. I'm making a similarish armour based firestorm Templar atm in Tempest

Do you find yourself dying often? I've made it to 69 in 1 piece and loving the skill/playstyle but found i'm starting to get hit fairly hard now.

I've prioritized life, life regen and armour over spell damage but found mobs die fairly quickly still. Soloed merciless dominus at lvl 66 without needing to use a portal which was a first for me.

Have you thought about dual cursing from the tree? I've linked enfeeble and flammability to lvl 1 CWDT so they proc constantly which is a big plus for me as I find it slows me down cursing manually.

Will start leveling a molten shell - hadn't thought of that but it makes perfect sense to use

I've died once during the process of creating this specific character. I did get a big nasty hit of those new specter things from act 4.
Dual cursing is definitively an option but I don't like it too much personally.

well giving this a go and gotta be fair it is fun although finding it diff getting the right drops for gear/weapons. i'm currently in act 4 normal and my 1st death was against koam as i got trapped in a corner and the second being against piety 2 even with well over 75% res on everything except chaos, so still gonna keep at it cause to be fair who cares if you die unless you play in hc.

Hello. I was doing a flameblast build but then I read that firestorm has been buffed and gave it a try. I was also going for armour and life. Now I'm following your build. I'm at cruel act 4 start at the moment. I hope it stays as powerful as it has felt to this point! Very nice build is what I'm trying to say! :D
