Emberwake, Event 23: 1 Hour Emberwake

This is a Signature Event. The top three experience value records across all signature races for each class wins an alternate art Demigod's Beacon at season end. You can view the current top three participants by class here.

Signature Races are Fixed Seed events, meaning that each participant plays through the same area layouts. In addition, all Signature races in a Season will use the same layout.

Is the title a typo or is this really another solo event?
it says 1 Hour Emberwake so i suspect thats its party?
Masterpiece of 3.16 lore
"A mysterious figure appears out of nowhere, trying to escape from something you can't see. She hands you a rusty-looking device called the Blood Crucible and urges you to implant it into your body."

Only usable with Ethanol Flasks

Not a typo, this is the signature race for the season so there will be a lot of them. And they will all be solo events.

There are three different fire themed races this season:
  • Emberwake - 30% of monsters' physical damage is added as fire, and they move 30% faster. Signature race. Solo. 28 events during the season.
  • Immolation - Players and monsters have their physical damage converted to fire damage, all monsters also create burning ground on death. Party Allowed. 6 during the season.
  • Inferno - All areas are under the effects of the Infernal tempest, which casts random fire skills that damage both Players and Monsters. Party Allowed. 6 during the season.
"

I still dont get why they choose two different titles for solo events.

Non-Target Vanilla races vs. Races with specific Mods

e: at least this has been the naming convention since season 11.

botched run aborted by missclicking exit path of exile
Maybe if I did progress to a3 I could have gotten 1st, but meh my a2 progression needs too much work

got mah ms in sarn and it really helped the run
No MS whole run, no jade at level 8, 9, and 10, no 2nd QS. Managed to get Jade at level 11 which is when it's needed, but so much time checking vendors. Level 9 actually had one but it was blue so I couldn't buy it.

I'm not sure how I feel about using Flame Surge at all. Probably gonna use it if I can afford it when it comes up in vendor, otherwise just gonna not bother.

Also really not sure about Tendrils start compared to Freeze Pulse. Probably doesn't matter too much, dunno.

Most of what I need to work on is just using Flame Dash much more often.
